Several sets of parents had been checking out my patio for good nesting places.  This one, that's about 15 feet from my back door seemed to be the best spot.  I've been keeping an eye on things and, a little while ago, I started hearing lots of very high pitched little chirps coming from there, so I knew the eggs had hatched.

I thought there were just two babies and was quite surprised when I got my zoom lens up to see FOUR babies!  No wonder the parents are so busy!  They are bringing food to the babies all day long.  I can always tell when one of them comes back with something because it gets very noisy with all the babies squeaking, "Hey, feed me!  Feed me!"

You can still see a bit of baby fuzz on the tops of their little heads...  But, it looks like they've got a good set of feathers already.  I wonder when the flying lessons will start?
