Borrowing from the tens:

Work for 75-28... Split the 7 into a 6 and a 1... Since 7=6+1

Now, remember, that's really 70 = 60 + 10!

Remember the big key:

A 1 in the tens stripe is 10...
and that's the same as 10 ones!
